On sale at Kaufland: Manufacturer calls sauce back for glass fragments
The company Jütro GmbH & Co. KG has started a recall for the product "Sweet Sour Pineapple - Asian Sauce" because it could contain broken glass. The affected goods were sold in branches of the Kaufland food retail chain.

The company Jütro GmbH & Co. KG from the Brandenburg town of Jüterbog is calling back the product "Sweet Sour Pineapple - Asian Sauce", spicy-fruity with crunchy vegetables, 350 g. According to a press release, it cannot be ruled out with absolute certainty that there are isolated glass fragments in the product.

According to the information, only goods with the batch R264 B 15 L1 printed on the lid edge and with the best before date 21.03.2020 are affected by the recall.
“The item has been sold to branches of the Kaufland group since November 2018. The affected trading company reacted immediately and, for reasons of preventive consumer protection, took the goods as a precautionary measure from the sale, ”says the message.
And: "Customers who have bought the corresponding product can return it to a Kaufland store of their choice without having to show the purchase price, without reimbursement of the purchase price."
